Exercise Description
Chair Pushup is an upper body exercise that improves balance, flexibility, and posture. This exercise primarily targets the triceps, chest, and core.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Get into a standard push-up position and grasp the edges of the chair seat. Your body should be straight, leaning up, with your legs straight. -
Step 2
Squeezing your body and pressing your elbows to the sides, slowly lower yourself to the chair. Squeeze your core and press your arms against the sides of the chair as you lift your body up and back to the starting position.

Chair Pushup targets Abs, Delts, Pecs, Triceps as seen below.
Exercise Tip
- Do not let your hips sag during the movement. Keep your core tight.
