Exercise Description

Spider-Man Pushup build strength throughout your upper body, especially in your triceps, forearms, deltoids, and upper pecs. This exercise can improve core strength and stability as well.

Exercise Instructions

  • Step 1

    Get on all fours with your hands on the floor slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Your body should be in a straight line from ankles to shoulders. Tighten your abdominal muscles as much as possible and keep them tense throughout the exercise.
  • Step 2

    As you lower into a push-up, pull one knee up and toward your elbow on the same side. Pause, then lift your torso and return your raised leg to its original position. Alternative sides.

Exercise Tips

  • Don't let your elbows open; keep them close to your sides throughout the exercise.
  • Be sure to keep your core tight and your back straight throughout the movement.
