Spider-Man Pushup build strength throughout your upper body, especially in your triceps, forearms, deltoids, and upper pecs. This exercise can improve core strength and stability as well.

Instructions

  1. Get on all fours with your hands on the floor slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Your body should be in a straight line from ankles to shoulders. Tighten your abdominal muscles as much as possible and keep them tense throughout the exercise.
  2. As you lower into a push-up, pull one knee up and toward your elbow on the same side. Pause, then lift your torso and return your raised leg to its original position. Alternative sides.

Tips

  • Don't let your elbows open; keep them close to your sides throughout the exercise.
  • Be sure to keep your core tight and your back straight throughout the movement.
