Exercise Description
General pushups are a fast and effective exercise for building upper body strength. They work the triceps, shoulders, and pectoral muscles. When done properly, they can also strengthen the lower back and core by engaging the abdominal muscles.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Get on all fours with your hands on the floor a little wider than shoulder-width apart. Your body should form a straight line from ankles to shoulders. Tighten your abs as much as possible and keep them tight throughout the exercise. -
Step 2
Lower your body until your chest almost touches the floor, making sure to keep your elbows close to the sides of your torso. Pause for a moment and then return to the starting position.
