Exercise Description

Scaption promotes healthy movement patterns, improves muscle function, and prevents injuries. It also strengthens your rotator cuff, which improves shoulder stability.

Exercise Instructions

  • Step 1

Stand straight with feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent. Hold a pair of dumbbells at your sides with your palms facing inward. This is your starting position.
  • Step 2

Tighten your core muscles and raise the dumbbells in front of your chest in a wide V. Squeeze your shoulder blades and hold. Then slowly lower the dumbbells to the starting position and repeat.
