Target Muscles

Instructions

  1. Stand straight with feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent. Hold a pair of dumbbells at your sides with your palms facing inward. This is your starting position.
  2. Tighten your core muscles and raise the dumbbells in front of your chest in a wide V. Squeeze your shoulder blades and hold. Then slowly lower the dumbbells to the starting position and repeat.

Tips

  • Stop lifting when the dumbbells reach the top of your shoulders.
  • Make sure you choose the correct weight for your skill level. A lighter weight is recommended for this exercise.
