Medicine Ball Alternating V-Up is a full-body move that works your core, legs, back, and shoulders. The exercise is beloved by fitness fanatics because it can work the upper and lower abdominal muscles simultaneously.

Instructions

  1. Lie face down on the floor with your legs straight and feet together. Hold the medicine ball with both hands above your head.
  2. Raise your legs and torso off the floor at the same time, extending your arms forward until the ball touches your ankles. Then reverse the movement to return back to the starting position.

Tips

  • Do not round your lower back at the bottom of the movement.
  • Tighten your abs at the top of the movement.
