T-Bar Row primarily targets the lats but also strengthens many other back muscles such as the teres major, trapezius, and erector spinae. They also develop the muscles in your arms that pull biceps, brachialis, brachioradialis, and shoulders.

Instructions

  1. Load one end of the barbell. Push the bar and push your hips back until your back is at a 45-degree angle to the floor. Extend both arms down, hook the V-handle under the bar and grasp it with both hands.
  2. Squeeze your shoulder blades and pull your elbows back, pulling the bar to your chest. Pause and return to the starting position.

Tips

  • Finish the movement by pulling the weight towards your chest.
  • Make sure you finish the row by bringing your shoulder blades together.
  • Don't let your back or body get out of balance. Pay attention to correct posture.
