Exercise Description
Standing L Raise is a good shoulder strengthening exercise that targets your delts – the rounded, triangular muscles that wrap around each upper arm and shoulder.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Stand shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand, and arms bent at a 90-degree angle, palms facing each other. -
Step 2
Rotating your shoulders, raise your arms parallel to the floor. Squeeze the shoulder blades together, hold and then return to the starting position.

Exercise Tips
- Don't raise your hands too high; your shoulders should be parallel to the floor in the top position.
- Avoid very heavy loads. Use light dumbbells and focus on form.
