Exercise Description
Standing Hamstring Stretch increases flexibility and improves the range of motion in the hip – which helps to perform daily tasks, such as walking upstairs and bending over, with ease.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Stand next to an exercise bench. Put one foot on the bench. Stand up straight and drop your shoulders. -
Step 2
Slightly bend your standing leg and bend at the waist. As soon as you feel a stretch behind your raised hip, stop and hold this position for the recommended time.

Exercise Tip
- This exercise is designed to stretch the hamstrings, not necessarily the lower back. Keep your chest straight and your back straight throughout the exercise.
