Instructions

  1. Sit on the floor with your legs extended and place your hands on the floor just behind your hips with your elbows slightly bent. Bend one knee and bring your heel to the opposite inner thigh; this is a starting position.
  2. Lean forward and grab the toe of your outstretched leg, feeling the stretch in your hamstring. Hold, return to the starting position to repeat on the other side.

Tips

  • Do not push yourself to the point of pain; you should feel mild discomfort but no pain.
