Instructions

  1. Lie with face down on the floor and knees slightly bent. Squeeze your abs and lift your legs until they are perpendicular to the floor.
  2. Press your lower back into the floor and lower your legs close to the floor before returning to the starting position in reverse.

Tips

  • Keep your lower back pressed to the floor throughout the exercise.
  • Don't let your legs drop. Lower them in a controlled movement.
  • Contract your buttocks as you lower your leg to protect your lower back.
