Exercise Description
Kneeling Superman exercise is more challenging back strength and stability exercise that provides progression from the prone position. It targets the lower and upper back, shoulders, glutes, hamstrings, and abdominal muscles.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Get on your hands and knees, using a mat if necessary for comfort. Make sure your back is straight and tighten your abs. -
Step 2
Stretch one arm forward while extending the opposite leg back. Pause in this position and then return to the starting position to switch sides.

Kneeling Superman targets Abs, Glutes, Hamstrings, Hips, Shoulders as seen below.
Exercise Tips
- Keep your head in line with the rest of your body.
- Tighten your abs and glutes while extending your arm and leg for added stability.
- Do not arch or round your back.
