Instructions

  1. Do the downward dog pose with your hands on the floor about three feet from your toes. Lift your hips and tighten your abs. form a straight line from feet to hips and hips to shoulders.
  2. Lift one leg back and up, stretching the heel towards the sky. Tighten your buttocks. Return the leg to its original position.

Tips

  • Squeeze your glutes at the top of each rep.
  • Keep your upper body straight and avoid twisting from side to side during the exercise.
  • Avoid overstretching your lower back at the top of the movement.
