Exercise Description
Inchworm is a great exercise used to warm up the entire muscular system. It focuses primarily on increasing flexibility throughout one's hamstrings as well as increasing strength within one's shoulders, chest, and deltoids.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Stand with straight legs, lean forward, and touch the floor with both hands. -
Step 2
Swing your arms forward, keeping your legs straight until you are almost in a push-up position. -
Step 3
Step your feet forward in small steps, keeping your hands on the floor to return to the starting position.

Inchworm targets Abs, Delts, Glutes, Hamstrings, Pecs, Shoulders, Total Body as seen below.
Exercise Tips
- Try to keep your abs tight and your back straight throughout the exercise.
- Don't let your hips sag during the exercise.
- Try not to rock your torso from side to side during the exercise.
