Instructions

  1. Stand with your feet flat on the floor and place your hands on your hips or grab the back of a chair with one hand for balance.
  2. Lift one straight leg up and swing it forward and then back in a controlled pendulum fashion. Return to starting position and repeat until the desired number of repetitions.

Tips

  • Try not to swing your leg too much or too far in front of you. Always keep the swing under control.
  • Try not to strain your lower back as you move your leg back. Keep your core tight to reduce the risk of injury.
