Exercise Description
Decline Dumbbell Bench Press is a variation of the flat bench press, which is a popular chest workout. In a decline dumbbell bench press activates the lower pectoral muscles as you push weights away from your body.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Grasp a pair of dumbbells and lie on an incline bench on your back. Hold the dumbbells with your arms fully extended and directly across your chest. -
Step 2
Slowly lower the dumbbells to the sides of your chest, keeping your elbows close to your body so they form a 45-degree angle in the down position. Pause and then press the dumbbells back to the starting position.

Exercise Tip
- Don't let your elbows flare. Keep your elbows close to your sides throughout the exercise.
