Exercise Description

Assisted Calf Stretch can help you to maintain or improve flexibility in your calf muscles and Achilles tendon. This is also a recommended morning stretch for people with plantar fasciitis as it helps to ensure that your muscles and joints can move freely during a workout or athletic competition.

Exercise Instructions

  • Step 1

Start by sitting on the floor with your legs outstretched in front of you. Wrap a band or towel around one foot.
  • Step 2

Keeping your back straight, pull the tape toward you until you feel a stretch in your leg. Press and hold for up to 30 seconds.
