Towel Pullup

ADVANCED

Towel Pullup

Towel Pullup primarily targets your forearm muscles, core muscles, and latissimus dorsi. It also activates the muscles in your forearms more than a regular pullup, as well as helping increase your grip strength.

Instructions

  1. Wrap a medium-sized towel around the bar and grasp both ends of the towel firmly. Allow your arms to hang in a fully extended position.
  2. Keeping your shoulders down and away from your ears, pull up until your chin touches the bar. Pause here and then slowly lower yourself back to the starting position.

Tips

  • Keep your chest up and your shoulders back.
  • Place your elbows behind you, so you don't pull on your wrists.
