Exercise Description
Swiss Ball Russian Twist is a complete core exercise that targets the hips, lower back, and glutes. It also builds stability in your spine, provides balance, and trims your midsection.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Lie down with your back on a Swiss ball, your feet on the floor, knees bent at 90 degrees, and arms extended and arms crossed in front of your chest. -
Step 2
Rotate your arms and torso to one side as the ball rolls over your shoulders. Stop the rotation when your arms are parallel to the floor. Pause and then return to the starting position.

Swiss Ball Russian Twist targets Abs, Back, Glutes, Hamstrings, Hips, Obliques as seen below.
Exercise Tips
- Be sure to keep your feet firmly planted on the floor.
- Don't let your knees drop too far inward while turning.
- Don't allow your hips to drop during the exercise. Tighten your glutes and hamstrings to keep your hips elevated.
