Exercise Description

Quad Foam Roll is a great exercise to improve the flexibility of the quads. It can be used as a warmup or cool-down exercise or as part of a corrective exercise program for injury prevention or rehabilitation.

Exercise Instructions

  • Step 1

    Lie face down on the floor with your legs extended and your torso resting on your forearms. Place a foam roller under one thigh. Raise your opposite leg so that your weight is resting on the foam roller.
  • Step 2

    Rock back and forth to make the foam roller roll up and down your thigh.

Exercise Tips

  • Move slowly along the stretch.
  • Roll from your hip flexor to the top of your knee.
  • Press your thigh against the foam roller to apply more pressure.
