Quad Foam Roll

Quad Foam Roll is a great exercise to improve the flexibility of the quads. It can be used as a warmup or cool-down exercise or as part of a corrective exercise program for injury prevention or rehabilitation.

Instructions

  1. Lie face down on the floor with your legs extended and your torso resting on your forearms. Place a foam roller under one thigh. Raise your opposite leg so that your weight is resting on the foam roller.
  2. Rock back and forth to make the foam roller roll up and down your thigh.

Tips

  • Move slowly along the stretch.
  • Roll from your hip flexor to the top of your knee.
  • Press your thigh against the foam roller to apply more pressure.
