Exercise Description
Quad Foam Roll is a great exercise to improve the flexibility of the quads. It can be used as a warmup or cool-down exercise or as part of a corrective exercise program for injury prevention or rehabilitation.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Lie face down on the floor with your legs extended and your torso resting on your forearms. Place a foam roller under one thigh. Raise your opposite leg so that your weight is resting on the foam roller. -
Step 2
Rock back and forth to make the foam roller roll up and down your thigh.
Muscle Groups
Quad Foam Roll targets Hips, Quads as seen below.
Exercise Tips
- Move slowly along the stretch.
- Roll from your hip flexor to the top of your knee.
- Press your thigh against the foam roller to apply more pressure.
