Target Muscles

Instructions

  1. Start in the push-up position with your hands directly under your shoulders.
  2. Prepare your abs and bring one knee out of the same arm, pausing for a moment before straightening your leg back. Keep the leg elevated and repeat the movement.

Tips

  • Don't lift your hips or let them drop. Instead, keep a straight line from head to toe.
  • Tighten the abdomen, bringing the knee to the chest.
  • Do not lower the working leg back to the floor until all repetitions have been completed.

Dead Bug

STRENGTH NO EQUIPMENT

Dead Bug is a popular 'core' exercise used to target the trunk muscles (erector spinae, obliques, rectus abdominis, and transverse abdominis), which together provide a strong base for our moving limbs so we can maintain good form whilst running.
