Lying EZ-Bar Triceps Extension is an upper arm exercise that targets the triceps brachii muscle through elbow extension and shoulder flexion.

Instructions

  1. Lie on your back on a bench, holding a loaded EZ bar with an overhand grip, hands almost shoulder-width apart. Grasp the bar straight above your head with your arms fully extended.
  2. Keeping your elbows in place, lower the bar until it's about an inch above your forehead.
  3. Pause and then flex your triceps to return the bar to its original position.

Tips

  • Don't move your elbows throughout the exercise.
