Exercise Description
EZ-Bar Overhead Triceps Extension is specifically a triceps strengthening exercise. Unlike other triceps exercises, this variation activates all three heads of the triceps, which means that your entire triceps will become stronger through this exercise.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and hold a loaded EZ bar with a medium overhand grip. Press the bar directly over your head, fully extending your arms and tensing your triceps. This is your starting position. -
Step 2
Squeeze your core and bend your elbows to lower the bar behind your head until your forearms are above 90 degrees. Pause and then extend your arms back to the starting position.

Exercise Tips
- Don't let your elbows flare outward as you lift.
- Slowly lower the weight behind your head.
- Don't use too much weight. You don't need to use a lot of weight for this movement to be effective.
