Exercise Description

General Situp is a classic abdominal exercise that strengthens and tones the core-stabilizing abdominal muscles. Situps work the rectus abdominis, transverse abdominis, obliques, and your hip flexors, chest, and neck.

Exercise Instructions

  • Step 1

Lie on the floor with your back and your knees should be bent, and your feet should be flat on the floor. Then place your fingertips behind your ears with your elbows pointed out.
  • Step 2

Keeping your feet on the floor, bend your upper body towards your hips. Keep your head in line with your body. Lower your upper body under control back to the floor.

Muscle Groups
