Elevator Abs

Elevator Abs is a great core strengthening exercise that works for both your transverse abdominis (the deepest core muscles) and obliques (the largest and outermost muscles).

Instructions

  1. Take a pushup position with your hands shoulder-width apart directly below your shoulders. Bring one knee to the elbow and press it firmly against the upper arm.
  2. Squeeze your core and slide your knee down from the master to the wrist. Break. Maintaining core strength, pull the knee towards the master until it reaches the elbow. Return the leg back to the starting position.

Tips

  • Don't turn your body. Instead, keep your shoulders and hips parallel to the floor throughout the exercise.
  • Don't overexert your lower back.
