Exercise Description
Walking Knee Hugs is a good warm-up exercise to start any physical activity. It targets your abs, challenges your core, helps to trim and tone your waist, and improves mobility and flexibility in the glutes and hamstrings.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Stand tall, legs straight, arms at your sides. -
Step 2
Lift one knee, raising it as high as you can. Grab it with both hands and gently pull it a little higher, pressing it against your body. Then slowly lower to repeat on the opposite side. Each step should move you forward a little.

Walking Knee Hugs targets Calves, Glutes, Hamstrings, Hips, Quads as seen below.
Exercise Tips
- Do not lean too far forward during the exercise. Keep your chest up and your shoulders back throughout the movement.
- During the exercise, try to keep the supporting leg completely straight.
