Exercise Description
Step up is a good lower body exercise that works muscles in the legs and buttocks. It primarily targets the quadriceps, hamstrings, as well as gluteal muscles in the buttocks.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Get right behind the box. Place your hands on your hips and place one foot on the box. -
Step 2
Plant your heel into the box and lift your hips towards the ceiling. Finish by stepping on the box with your other foot. Then reverse the movement to return to the starting position.

Stepup targets Abs, Glutes, Hamstrings, Quads as seen below.
Exercise Tips
- Press with your heel as you stand on the box.
- Always keep your chest straight. Don't round your upper back.
- Squeeze your buttocks as you stand on the box.
