Target Muscles

Instructions

  1. Stand in front of an adjustable rope machine with one foot forward and feet shoulder-width apart. Grasp the rope with an overhand grip at chest level.
  2. Squeeze your torso and twist your torso to one side, lowering the rope into your body. Pause, then return the rope to its original position.

Tips

  • Try to rotate your shoulders and torso as one.
  • Don't use momentum to help overcome resistance.
  • Keep your feet firmly on the floor.

Dead Bug

STRENGTH NO EQUIPMENT

Dead Bug is a popular 'core' exercise used to target the trunk muscles (erector spinae, obliques, rectus abdominis, and transverse abdominis), which together provide a strong base for our moving limbs so we can maintain good form whilst running.
