Exercise Description
Smith Machine Overhead Press targets middle and front shoulder muscles such as the anterior and lateral deltoids and provides them strength and stability.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Sit on a bench with a backrest directly under the barbell of the Smith machine. Take the barbell with a double overhand grip, slightly wider than shoulder-width, slightly above shoulder level. -
Step 2
Holding the barbell as tight as possible, press it over your head until your arms are completely closed. Pause at the top of the movement and then lower it back to the starting position.

Exercise Tip
- Avoid tilting your head back. Push your head through your hands as you lift the barbell.
