Exercise Description

Sleeper Stretch is a good shoulder exercise that targets the infraspinatus and the teres minor muscles found in the rotator cuff. These muscles provide stability to your shoulders.

Exercise Instructions

  • Step 1

Lie on the floor on one side with your head resting on a foam roller for support. Bend your forearm 90 degrees, so it's perpendicular to your torso.
  • Step 2

Keeping your shoulder blades down and back, press your right hand into the floor with your left hand until you feel a stretch in the back of your shoulder. Hold and go back to start.

Exercise Tip
