Instructions

  1. Lie on your side, balancing your upper body on your forearm, which should be firmly pressed to the floor. Your top leg should be stacked on top of your bottom leg. This is your starting position.
  2. Bend the top of your knee and bring your ankle towards your buttocks. Grab your ankle with your free hand and pull it toward your buttocks, bending your leg back to feel the stretch in your hip and hip flexor. Hold, return to the starting position.

Tips

  • Be sure to keep your torso straight.
  • Don't make stretching too uncomfortable. It should be a little uncomfortable but not painful.
