Dumbbell Lying Triceps Extension

Dumbbell Lying Triceps Extension provides triceps strength, improves flexibility, brings stability to your shoulders and arms, and increases range of motion. This prevents the chances of injury and makes it easier for you to use your upper body in daily activities, such as swimming, rowing, and boxing.

Instructions

  1. Lie on a bench with a dumbbell in each hand and extend your arms across your chest.
  2. Bend your elbows and lower the dumbbells until they are just above your shoulders. Your shoulders shouldn't move. Pause, then return the dumbbells to the starting position, tensing your triceps.

Tips

  • Don't put your feet on the bench. Make sure your feet are firmly on the floor.
  • Don't let your elbows flare out to the sides.
  • Lower the weight slowly and don't use momentum.
