Bent-Knee V-Up is a core exercise that targets your abdominal muscles as well as your glutes and hip flexors. By activating your rectus abdominis, bent knee V-ups allow you to build core strength.

Instructions

  1. Lie straight on your back with your feet and hands on the floor.
  2. Raise your shoulders off the floor as you sit. At the same time, lift your legs off the floor and pull your knees towards your stomach. Return to starting position.

Tips

  • Do not round your upper back at any time during the exercise.
  • Keep a neutral spine in your lower back.
  • Lower your body in a controlled manner to avoid using thrust.
