Exercise Description
Static Lying Triceps Extension is a good workout that helps you to increase triceps strength, brings stability to your shoulders and arms, improves flexibility, and increases range of motion.
Exercise Instructions
-
Step 1
Lie down on your back on a flat bench and grab an EZ bar with a shoulder-width overhand grip and hold it above your chest with your arms fully extended. -
Step 2
Lower the bar by bending your elbows at a 90-degree angle until the bar is just above your forehead. Stay in this position as long as possible (up to 40 seconds). After a static hold, return the bar to its original position.

Exercise Tips
- Do not arch your back or lift your head as you move.
- Be careful to choose the right weight for this exercise, as you will lower the bar towards your head.
- When you're done with the set, carefully place the EZ bar across your chest, sit up, and lift the bar from your knees.
