Exercise Description
Single-Leg Hip Raise with Foot on Step is hamstrings and glutes-focused isolation exercise commonly used to improve hip-extension strength and glute development.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Lie on your back with one heel on the box and lift your other leg until it forms a straight line from heel to hip. -
Step 2
Raise your hips towards the ceiling while keeping your straight leg elevated. Now you form a straight line from the heel of the outstretched leg to the shoulders. Pause and slowly lower your body back to the starting position.

Exercise Tips
- Keep your leg under your knee throughout the exercise. Try not to put it too far in front of you.
- Keep your heel firmly pressed into your stride throughout the movement. Most of the power should come from the heel.
- Squeeze your buttocks as hard as you can at the top of the movement.
