Exercise Description
Single-Leg Donkey Calf Raise targets the main muscles on the backs of your lower legs and can help you to build bigger calves.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Stand on the weight plate on the floor with your heels hanging off the edge. Cross one leg after the other, supporting the shin on the calf of the supporting leg, and lower the supporting heel to the floor. -
Step 2
Keeping your toes on the plate, move your heel toward the ceiling. Pause and then tighten your calf muscle. Slowly lower your heel back to the starting position.

Exercise Tips
- Be sure to drop your heel as low as possible to achieve the greatest stretch.
- Keep your leg straight throughout the movement and do not bend or straighten your knee to enhance the movement.
- Be sure to squeeze the calf to the maximum range of motion.
