Exercise Description

Shoulder Pushup is an advanced strength training exercise that targets the anterior deltoid muscles in your shoulders. Moreover, this exercise also benefits your triceps, glutes, and pecs muscles.

Exercise Instructions

  • Step 1

Start the exercise by holding in a standard push-up position with your arms slightly wider than shoulder-width apart and your elbows fully locked. Raise your hips toward the ceiling and plant your toes on the floor so that your body looks like an inverted "V."
  • Step 2

Slowly lower the top of your head towards the floor when your head is about to touch the floor, pause and then return to the starting position.
