Exercise Description
Lying Dumbbell Raise works your shoulder muscles as well as your triceps. It is an isolation exercise for shoulder flexion. It helps you to build strength and definition in the front and sides of your shoulder.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Lie on your side with your head in your hand. Hold a dumbbell in the opposite hand in front of your chest with your arm fully extended. -
Step 2
Lift the dumbbell towards the ceiling, so your arm is perpendicular to the floor. Pause and return the weight to the starting position.

Exercise Tips
- Don't shrug the weight up. Focus on lifting it with your shoulders.
- Raise and lower the weight slowly and with control.
