Elevated Inchworms

A full-body mobility and core exercise performed with the hands or feet on an elevated surface, increasing stretch, shoulder stability, and core engagement through controlled walkout and return movements.

Layer 1

Instructions

  1. Stand tall, legs straight. Lean forward and touch the floor with both hands.
  2. Move your arms forward, keeping your legs straight so that you are almost in a pushup position.
  3. Step forward in small steps, keeping your hands on the floor, and return back to the starting position.

Tips

  • Be sure to keep your abs tight and your back straight throughout the exercise.
  • Do not let your hips sag during the exercise.
  • Try not to sway your torso from side to side during the exercise.
