Exercise Description

Jumping Jacks target all the major muscles in the lower body, strengthening your glutes, hamstrings, quads, hips, calves, and shins.

Exercise Instructions

  • Step 1

    Stand on the floor with your feet together, hands at your sides. Jump up, spread your legs and bring both hands together above your head.
  • Step 2

    Jump up again and return to the starting position. Repeat until the set is complete.

Exercise Tips

  • Keep your knees bent and land softly on your toes.
  • Engage your core and glutes, and keep your knees in line with your hips and feet.
  • Keep your arms straight, and your elbows relaxed throughout the exercise, and maintain an even, even rhythm of breathing.
