Exercise Description
Dumbbell Jump Shrug is a free weight exercise that primarily targets the traps and, to a lesser degree, also targets the quads, calves, glutes, hamstrings, and shoulders. This exercise is also good to improve metabolic conditioning.
Exercise Instructions

Step 1
Standing in a partial squat, feet shoulder-width apart, hold a pair of dumbbells, palms facing each other. -
Step 2
Lower yourself into a full squat, then quickly come up and pull your shoulders towards your ears. Land softly and return to the starting position.

Exercise Tips
- Slightly bend your knees and flex your waist to cushion your landing.
- Raise with your feet, not with your hands.
