Workout Plans Help
What Are Workout Plans?
Workout Plans in KEEP.FIT are structured programs that combine multiple workouts into a complete schedule. Unlike individual workouts, which focus on a single session, workout plans guide you through a series of workouts over days or weeks to help you progress toward your fitness goals.
Workout Plans are usually structured around a consistent number of sessions per week. While the number of workouts may remain the same, each session can be different, with varying exercises, intensity, or volume to help you progress safely and effectively.
Workout Plans allow you to stay organized, maintain variety, and follow a clear path toward your fitness objectives. You can follow pre-designed plans from the KEEP.FIT community or create your own personalized plan using your favorite workouts.
Key Features of Workout Plans
- Combine multiple workouts into a structured plan for consistent progression over weeks.
- Organize workouts by day and week, making it easier to follow a routine.
- Schedule the plan from a chosen start date; each workout in the plan will follow the schedule you’ve set.
- Complete each workout in the plan using the Workout Session Manager, just like individual workouts, to track reps, sets, weights, and timing.
- Track your progress across the plan, with updates displayed on your KEEP.FIT dashboard for easy monitoring.
Finding a Workout Plan
Most users will start by browsing pre-designed workout plans available in KEEP.FIT. These plans are collections of workouts organized into weekly schedules, designed to help you build consistency, progress toward your goals, and stay motivated over time.
- New Users or Beginners: Choose a pre-designed plan that matches your fitness level and goals to get started quickly.
- Experienced Users or Trainers: Customize existing plans or create your own plan by selecting and arranging workouts to suit specific objectives or client needs.
This approach ensures everyone, regardless of experience, can find a plan that works for them and helps build a consistent routine.
Next Steps After Finding a Workout Plan
Once you’ve found (or created) a workout plan, there are several ways to use it to stay consistent and get the most out of your training:
- Schedule Plan: Add the plan to your calendar inside the app. You can set a start date and configure recurring sessions for the workouts in the plan to build consistency over time.
- Favourite Plan: Mark the plan as a favourite so you can easily find it and follow it again later.
- Share Plan: Share the plan with friends or the community to get feedback or help others follow your routine.

Creating a Workout Plan
There are two main reasons you might create a workout plan:
- For Personal Use: Build plans tailored to your own goals and routine. You can keep them private or unlisted and share with friends or selected users to get feedback and refine your plan.
- For the Community: Experienced users or trainers can create plans using available workouts. Plans submitted for public use are reviewed to ensure they are valid, safe, and well-structured.
In all cases, ensure that each workout included in your plan is tested and suitable for the intended intensity, duration, and fitness level.
Plan Structure
Workout plans are organized into weeks and sessions. Each session is a complete workout drawn from your selected workouts. Plans typically maintain a consistent number of workouts per week, but individual workouts may vary in type, length, or intensity. This flexible structure helps you progress safely and effectively over time.
- Weekly Organization: Assign workouts to specific days of the week for a clear, easy-to-follow schedule.
- Combining Workouts: Use pre-designed or custom workouts to build a structured plan that progresses over weeks.
- Start Date & Scheduling: Set a start date for your plan. Workouts will follow the schedule you configure, including recurring sessions.
- Progress Tracking: Completion and progress for each session in the plan will be displayed on your dashboard for easy monitoring.
Adding Workouts to a Plan
Before creating a plan, ensure you have selected or created the workouts you want to include. Once you have your workouts ready, add them to the plan and configure:
- Session Order: Arrange workouts in the desired weekly sequence.
- Rest Days: Schedule rest or recovery days between sessions as needed.
- Duplicate Weeks/Sessions: Copy weeks or workouts to save time when designing a multi-week plan.
By organizing workouts into a plan, you create a clear path to achieving your fitness goals while maintaining consistency and tracking progress.
